Mission

The role involves applying change requests, maintaining part revisions, and providing accurate and up-to-date 3D models and technical drawings for production.

Responsibilities

  • Update SolidWorks models according to modification requests
  • Apply revisions and ensure version number consistency
  • Update technical drawings, dimensions, tolerances and BOMs
  • Prepare files for production and prototyping
  • Maintain file structure and organization in PDM/vault
  • Respond to workshop requests for quick adjustments or corrections
  • Verify model and drawing compliance before release
  • Ensure traceability of modifications and change request tracking

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (parts, assemblies, configurations, drawings)
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, injection, 3D printing)
  • Knowledge of revision workflows and technical documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple modifications in parallel
  • Rigorous file organization and drawing updates

Profile Sought

  • DEP or DEC in mechanical engineering technology or equivalent
  • Experience in CAD file management and revisions
  • Fast and structured execution
  • Autonomy and accuracy in technical work

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of a PDM system
  • Experience in prototyping or 3D printing
  • Experience in production or manufacturing environments

About the Company

We operate a 3D printing farm of approximately 250 FDM machines (P1P, CR-M4...), used for mass production of technical TPU parts in the sports and athletic protection industry. To support our growth, and in collaboration with our design team, we are looking for a rigorous and autonomous CAD Technician / Designer – SolidWorks (Production & Revisions) to improve, manage and update production files.
