Responsibilities

Manufacturing Accounting

· Maintain and optimize the cost accounting system

· Calculate and analyze standard and actual costs

· Analyze variances in production, raw materials, and labor

· Prepare product-by-product margin analyses

· Support decisions regarding pricing and profitability

· Participate in improving production processes to optimize operational profitability

Inventory

· Oversee inventory valuation

· Track raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods

· Plan and coordinate physical inventory counts

· Implement controls to ensure inventory accuracy

Accounting and Financial Reporting

· Prepare monthly financial statements

· Conduct monthly financial analyses and explain variances

· Prepare month-end reconciliations

· Assist in preparing for the annual review

· Ensure the implementation of internal controls

Budgets and Financial Analysis

· Participate in the development of annual budgets

· Prepare financial forecasts

· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)

· Conduct ad hoc financial analyses for management

Other Related Tasks

· Optimize financial processes

· Develop dashboards

· Collaborate on improving management systems and tools

· Participate in select corporate projects related to the company’s growth

· Collaborate with internal or external administrative departments to ensure effective management of corporate processes

Profile Sought

· CPA designation

· At least 5 to 8 years of experience in financial control, including significant experience in a manufacturing environment

· Excellent knowledge of cost accounting

· Experience with inventory management

· Proficiency in Excel and an ERP system

· Ability to explain financial information in layman’s terms to operational teams

· Proactive and solution-oriented approach

· High degree of autonomy

· Analytical mind and strong organizational skills

Nice to Have

· Advanced proficiency in standard cost accounting and variance analysis for multi-product manufacturing

· Experience in profitability analysis by product, customer, or business segment

· Skilled in managing complex inventory systems involving batches, multiple products, and high-tech raw materials

· Proficiency in factory performance metrics (production and logistics KPIs)

· Experience working in a growing small-to-medium-sized enterprise (SME)

· Experience in the 3D printing technology and research and development sectors
